Did you ever get that feeling that someone is watching you? I do, well mostly recently. Here's and example, I was in my favorite book store. I was minded my own business, when I notice this elderly women in all white peeking up at me from her book. I first I thought I was disturbing her reading and I gave an apologetic smile, and she buried her face in her book and giggled. I was appalled, who laughs at a smile?
So I ignored that and met up with me sister. We talked about books on the new release, and what sounded good. All of a sudden Marina (my sister) starts trying to get me out of the area. I didn't under stand at first then once we were on the other side of the bookcase she told a lady was staring at me. I peered around the shelf (most likely looking stupid) and saw the same lady as before standing the children's department staring and laughing again! I found it quite creepy.
Example number two was right afterward we went to a small local store with all sorts of strange odds and ends. I was talking to Marina about a movie that we had to stop watching before we reached the end, but she had seen it before so I asked her questions about the ending.
She replied with "Everyone dies" as a joke. Well there was a heavier set man across the table from us and he started to laugh. I was shocked at first I didn't realize someone was there. He looked back at me holding in a laugh, and said "You're one funny child.". I was freaked out, we was everyone staring and laughing at want I say, it's as if the have some sort of inside joke about it.
It's bothering me. And now I sound insane, great. Oh well.
